Cylinder Overhaul of 1953 JD 40

Hello, I'm new to this board, and I'm currently overhauling the cylinder head of a 1953 40 tractor. All parts are available, except the valve seals. Does anybody on the board know where these can be bought, or what valve seals from other models/brands will fit?

I am not aware J/Deere used a valve seal on the 40 ?

I don't think they do either ? If you want some a machine shop should be able to fix you up. Likely some machining required to fit them in there.

The 40 didn't come with valve seals. The 420 came with 2 & they might work on a 40 head but I woulden't swear to it. Any automotive machine shop should be able to get you
the umbrella seals. They were used on everything for 30 or 40 years.
