I can lift a scoop of gravel or dirt until my oil gets warm and then I loose power... I replaced the oil with what is recomended and still no lift!? Any info would be much apprieciated. . Thanks

Kinda guessing here. Per chance has the tractor been run for lots of hours without changing the transmission/hydraulic filter or cleaning the pump's pick-up screen. Have implements with remote cylinders that have been used with other tractors that may have contaminated oil been used? See, I'm wondering if the use of dirty oil at some time may now be causing the spool-type hydraulic control valves to be leaking by.

If the 3-point is having lift problems too, maybe the above could the the problem. However, if the 3-point lift is good, maybe oil is leaking past the seals in the loader lift cylinders.

Sorry , I'm not familiar with the 850 . However is the loader valve new to the tractor ? Is it an open center or closed center , the wrong setup will heat like you describe . Other than that an internal high pressure leak in the system , such as selective control valves etc. When you start up cold , start touching these valves, steering valves ,etc. with your hand to see which gets hot first. first one hot is the culprit .

It's 855 (hydro transmission) not 850 (gear transmission), but I guess hydraulics aren't really that much different - open center, spool valves, pretty much part of the tractor, not loader
