Tim, I remember a post from quite sometime ago about putting a turbo on a 4020 and everything working out to bring the exhaust out in the correct location. I know everyone is concerned about heat and longevity of the engine, but I'm not farming or going to farm with it. I'm more looking to be one gear higher and spin out at 11000#. We've got plenty of fuel, more than we can burn. So I'm expecting to change the exhaust and intake manifold to probably 4430 style, but wondering what type fabrication is needed as far as exhaust elbow coupling and if this can be done without burning the hood on the tractor. I have found some m&w components, but I had rather use all Deere parts and have a turbo that has multiple applications on our farm. Hopefully this project will keep me from getting serious about putting a 466 in a 4230 project. Thanks for any help.
