I would like to put a grab handle on the right interior sound guard post. Is there a wiring harness inside that post I could hit if I drilled a couple of mounting holes for a handle?

No chance you could use some existing holes, typically there's some attachment points for electronics over on that side.

RH front post contains wires to AC,lights & radio. Why not just buckle seat belt instead of installing a grab handle?

Hard to brace yourself against a seatbelt.
And the proper term is an OH SH[oo]T handle.

If one is belted in snug enough then there's no need for bracing. :lol:

I have a bad back and getting jerked around even with the belt on is uncomfortable.
