6210 with cracked priority valve when you use the hyd the pump stay in constant pumping . have a jd repair and test and adjust manual.. replaces priority valve made sure all the disk were reinstalled now my stand by pressure is at 450 witch is with in specks 406-475 sensing pressure is at 50psi speck 29-87 psi. pump was going to max pressure of 5000 psi now it at around 2500 it should be 2900-3000 i can get it there. problem is it stays in constant pump under pressure even after you release the remote control lever back to neutral.. when it under constant pressure my sensing pressure goes back to 50 psi. with that, pump should return to stand by pressure but its not .. here what i am thinking that the valve piston in the pump that control the swashplate is sticking or the flow-pressure regulator. any one have a suggestion the flow-regulator can be replace it an gasket around 1250.00 pump new remand pump us 1549.96

Went through the same thing with a 6420 recently.

Posted about it here, suggestion was cracked priority valve.

Replaced it, same results.

Replaced the regulator on the pump, same results.

Took main pump apart and found that the bore that the piston that controls swashplate angle runs in was badly worn, especially near the end of travel in the "out of stroke" direction. There's no sealing rings on the piston, so obviously the wear caused a lot of leakage, and there's orifices in the regulator that only allow a certain flow of control oil to the swashplate piston.
With the leakage, the piston couldn't quite tilt the swashplate to the "zero flow" position.

It would be interesting to see if yours has the same issue.

Replaced the main pump with a DEERE reman, and so far, no issues.

that seem to be where i looking the priority valve would get real hot this tractor also had bad 3pt valve was cracked if i only have the pump going to 1500 psi it returns back to stand by pressure i going to do little more playing with it before i tell coustmor he need new pump

Yes, the hydraulics on the 6420 ran HOT!

Dealership thought is was one section of the mid-mount loader valve, and replaced it, which did seem to help for a while at a cost of $3500, between hauling, troubleshooting, labor and parts.

We replaced pretty much ALL the hydraulic lines on it because they were hard, brittle, and leaking at connections/crimps because of years of running hot.
