I am looking at a 2010-gas, narrow front, 3pt, duel
outlets, power steering. The sheet metal is ok, a
few dents. Just wondering what a fair price would
be. I can't seem to find many for sale.
Thanks!

$ 107.00 a long ton 2240 lbs. here in Ohio for scrap.

Pass up any 1010 or 2010 models as there never was much parts support for them. Unless you just want it for a collector ? There are a lot better choices around to use.

RUN don't walk away form it. The 1010 and 2010 where a couple of JDs worst ever made and parts are hard to come by and when you do find parts they cost you an arm and leg and that is if your lucky.

I agree 1010 & 2010's were not JD engineers best efforts BUT the gasoline engine models gave less headaches than the diesel models

I sold my 2010 diesel row crop on an ebay auction with a starting price of $4.99 and no reserve. That was about 7 years ago. Got about 25 bids from a total of 6 or 7 bidders and it ended up selling for $1500. The tractor had some of the usual 2010 problems but it actually ran pretty good, and was in good condition cosmetically. It would cut grass all day.

True but one does not want to have to rebuild the gas engine either. Last I checked just the sleeve set cost well over $500 and that is if you can find one and that was just the sleeves nothing more

I don't remember mtp66 stating anything about prospective tractor needing an engine overhaul. Engine overhaul might be years down the road.

I sold a non running 2010 for $750. Tires were just ok, engine needed valves but turned over and would fire. As others have said, poor design, few parts, but runs a sickle bar all day. Wouldn't put much more behind the rear end though.
