Replace the real axle housing gasket on the ol B. Everything looked good inside but had been leaking bad enough to loose all the lube over Winter. Filled it with 80w90w and decided to drive it home from where I worked on it. The trip was 2 hours (4.5 mph) and when I would come to a hill I would hear a noise of metal on metal like a dry bushing or bearing. Never did it before... any ideas?
