JD 9500 Combine

Would someone know the exact refrigerant charge for a 1991 JD 9500 Combine's A/C System ? I have seen and numerous amounts. Seems the most common is 3.75Lbs (60oz). Is that correct ? Yes, I am aware that it has a TXV and a Sight Glass on it.

Since this is a 1991 combine, it was originally a R-12 system. Somewhere in it's life, it has been converted to R-134A. Thus, if there was an OEM tag in 1991, it is now long gone.

I don't know offhand but I do know Deere changed the recommended capacity for r-134a conversions to obtain the best cooling. They use less than the r-12 charge. I have the bulletin for tractors but combines are not on it. Might check with your local Deere dealer for the proper spec if no one here can come up with it.
