John deere H over pulley

I managed snag one of these hard to come by over pulleys. This one is the later one. What is the difference between them? Could i get it to work on my 39?

Marv, an overpulley was an accessory that was essentially an iron sleeve or collar that fitted snugly over the belt pulley of a model "H". The "H" belt pulley was on the camshaft so it rotated at half engine speed and as a result belt speed was too slow for the 10-A hammermill that was sized for the "H". An overpulley increased the belt speed sufficiently to run that hammermill.

Here's a shot of one mounted to a tractor. There are recessed setscrews around the perimeter that clamp it to the belt pulley. The overpulley increased the belt speed from a rated 2245 feet per minute to 3000 feet per minute.

OOOOO KKK!!!! I see -now! I have never seen such a thing so now i can keep my eyes open in case I run across one. I would imagine the speed increase came with a little drop in applied torque so the RPM's would have to be set a little higher to compensate. About the difference on the rear axle of a car running 14 inch rims compared to 15 inch rims.
