2755 Hydraulic chatter

Put the 2755 on the auger to fill the feed bin and it couldn't even get the auger lifted up (hydraulic winch) to the bin without chattering and having to stop/start a couple times. I knew we had this problem as we could never run the fertilizer auger to fill the corn planter but that normally ran a couple minutes before chattering. Just replaced the load shaft in it recently so the oil, screen, and filter are all new. We have a loader on it in the fall and it can run that all day long no problem but hydraulic motors on the other hand.....
Worst part is our IH 350 normally has auger duty and it can run it just fine

Closed center hyd's such as 2755 needs flow on scv turned down to operate orbit motors. Flow control(rabbit/turtle) knob is on scv housing. It's also possible that hyd chattering is caused by an internal leak.

Continuous high demand hydraulic loads connected to the SCV will chatter and cavitate because the front pump is starving.
Return the auger oil to the ported transmission filter cover.

You are not getting enough transmission charge oil to your front pump, a common issue on this system, check and clean your sump screen, change the filter and see if that helps, hopefully it will, if it don't you will be going into a rash of trouble finding the reason why...

A 2755 probably is returning oil through the filter bowl...the latter Dubuque's routed the return oil that way
trying to make the system better..

Is this tractor open station or does it have a cab? If its open station its easy to see if there is a return line from the scv to the filter bowl. If it has two scvs it is possible that only one is returning to the filter as well. If you plug an orbit motor into the one with the return line to filter it will run almost as well as a Waterloo.
