The switch from the old system is one step closer to being final. The trouble is the new system is written by CAR people working for SNAPON. The system is a complete JOKE!!!! If you go to JD parts and enter the model number of what your looking for it will jump you to the new system now. The old system is still there for a "Limited Time". It is a button on the left under where the "trail" usage for the new system was.
Try to find out where a part is used. The old system would list everywhere the part was used. If that is available on this POS system I can't find it.
Look for some thing that your not sure of the name for. The old system you could look through the index. The new system you just "search" for it. Well IF your calling a part one thing and the engineer called it some thing else you will not find the part.
I wasted an hour looking for some parts to only find that I can't get the parts transferred to a parts list and then check to see if it is in my local dealership's inventory.
If you really want some fun try looking up something by the part specification like you used to. Lets say your looking for an idler pulley. The old system you could look it up by categories and then by size. It would list the JD part numbers for the idlers they have. If the new system can do this I can not figure it out.
JD has made their "New" equipment to where the average fellow can barely run it and forget about working on it. So now they want to screw up the parts system too.
GOOD JOB JD GOOD JOB!!!!!! I guess I will be buying even more of my parts from other sources.
