John Deere R Sloppy Steering

Hey all,

I have a 52 Model R I recently bought from my dad. I was working up a field for some food plots and noticed it had extremely sloppy steering compered to my AR. Where do I begin looking to see what needs fixin?

start at the steering box and work your way down to the tie rods, while having someone turn the steering wheel back and forth.
