Round baler question

Our jd 467 baler has baled 8000 bales so far. Does anyone replace the roller chains after baling so many bales? Ours has been kept oiled on a regular basis and the chains appears ok. I know bearings also go out after much use. Anyone replace these before they go out?

If they start riding the sprocket too much they need replaced...or take it off put it on a flat surface and see how much the chain moves between the links ...you can buy a chain gauge for this purpose

Make sure you get US chain. Drives chain is good but Diamond is the very best.Tom
