3130 clutch slipping

Need some info, clutch has started slipping, need to fix this but before tearing into it I would like to know anyone's tips, lesson learned, or thing I should look out for? Also, while it is split, what parts, other than clutch plate and T/O bearing should be replaced while I am in there? Any special tool needed? Any info or insight on this subject will be much appreciated.

Is the free play adjusted? Is the throw out bearing sticking due to not being greased?
Parts book is free on the JD web site. Service manual and operator's manual is at 1-800-522-7448.

I wasn't aware of a grease fitting. I looked on JDparts and didn't see one. Don't remember my manual listing one either. The clutch is adjusted for the proper amount of free play, once you push the pedal past the free play, you feel the increased resistance of the clutch springs and it hardly needs pushed past that point for the clutch to disengage.

According to JDparts.com grease fitting(parts key 10) on TO carrier was offered up to SN< - 224436

I'm sorry I was looking at the clutch for the 2840, is that grease fitting accessed through the front cap/plug on side of the clutch housing? Unfortunately, I have never greased that. Could that possibly free up things to where the clutch would function better?
