14T tying problem

Finally got a chance to try out the 14T in a little hay. I have one side that ties fine but the other side has a loop on each end of the twine but not tied. Any ideas?

Have you checked the operators manual for possible causes?

There's several good videos on YouTube on tying timing on a 14 t. When I got mine they said it would not tie turns out all was wrong was the bolt holding the needle was loose.

From what I read here and there I get the impression very few really understand how knotters work. There is a good video on you tube made by new holland that takes away a lot of the mystery.

Make sure the twine knife is sharp. Ours had 1 side that wouldn't tie worth a darn, got an older gent that knew balers to look at it, sharpened the knives and it tied very well.
