Hey all got a question, we got a JD 4650 and we are getting engine oil in the coolant, we have replaced the oil cooler thinking that was where we were getting the oil no luck still getting engine oil in coolant, we removed the head and checked the head gasket it looks good, we sent the head out and had it pressure tested it is good no leaks we are thinking that maybe the block is cracked and is letting oil in the coolant but are not 100% sure, any help or ideas would be appreciated

I have replaced the coolers and flushed system several times and still see oil in them,so it may be residual in there unless you can tell its getting worse.

That's a gear driven pump . On the bottom of the pump there is a bleed hole that leaks anti-freeze when seals wear out, but they will plug up with dirt and anti-freeze goes into the oil . I would say a water pump overhaul is in order . look for yellow paint under the pump, a sure sign .

IMHO leaking WP seal on JD 50/55 series rowcrop tractor isn't going to put engine oil in coolant as OP stated was happening

I stand corrected, water can go into engine but unlikely oil could go other way unless its really plugged tight .
