JD 855 hydroulic loader gets weak?

So I run my loader for about 5 scoops of dirt and then my loader slows to a small creep. Like about 15 seconds to elevate it around a foot... my valves are really sticky and seem wore out, could this be cousing poor performance.. I also use my grandpas Kubota bx22 a lot and it will lift the front end off the ground by just pressing the loader on the ground... the only way I can get mine to is if I tilt my bucket the same time as my downpressure!! Thanks

This link will obtain the free JD parts book. A picture is worth a thousand words. 1-800-522-7448 for the operator's and service manuals to obtain pressure, torque, clearances, test ports etc.
It does sound like one or more of the following .Hot oil, worn pump or plugged filter.
It's possible somebody has added the wrong/too thin oil ?

Ok so I got in touch with the guy I bought it from and
he said he used napa brand tractor hydroulic fluid. Is
this okay to use? Also if my pump was going bad
wouldn't that cause my drive power to get weak
also?

It's possible the hyd relief valve is prematurely opening IE not holding system pressure(2050 psi). I'd suggest to tee a gauge into pressure line to check psi.

Next time you see the previous owner , give him a good swift kick in the backside for using cheapo 303 type oil or ordinary hydraulic oil which does not have the anti wear additive package.
The pump now maybe worn to bits?
