Was going to fire up the B for a drive yesterday. Checked coolant and it was low, so added 2 quarts - then noticed it leaking out underneath the block somewhere??.....didn't have time to investigate, but not a good sign!!

Will have to check it out, and then might be asking for some help.

You might have a cracked block in the middle underneath. Mine was cracked and I cleaned it up and put 2 tubes of JB weld on it. I put it on different layers to cover it good. Its been 3 years and still no leaks. You might have a lower water pipe leaking where it bolts on the head. You could have a bad head gasket and ive seen heads crack on the bottom side also. Get it cleaned up and you will find the leak.
