problems with 4040

First problem was a/c switch in cab went bad I replaced it with a new one and it lasted a day before going bad. What could be causing this to happen? Second problem is the oil pressure gauge started to bounce around when baling. It has never done this before. I will get a test gauge tommorrow to find out if the pressure is really bouncing or not, but I am wondering if this motor had any issues with oil pumps. It does have about 9000 hours on it.

It is probably an electrical issue with your oil pressure gauge.In our repair shop we have changed a good number of senders and gauges,along with repairing connections between the two.I doubt it is an oil pressure problem.

Ditto on faulty oil pressure sender. Possibly bushings are getting worn in AC blower motor causing excessive amp draw.

Found the oil pressure problem. It was a bare wire between sender and gauge. I will check bushings in fan. Thanks
