Model B brakes

I'm rebuilding the brake on my B and was cleaning out the bushings and oil cup and noticed there was no place for the oil to go. The bushing had no hole in it for the oil to come out. I pressurized the oil reservoir and there's no place for the oil to come out. Am I missing something. The oil should lube that bushing. This is on both brakes and each is from different tractors. Should there be a hole in the bushing

I believe those are oilite bushings, meaning the oil seeps through the material to keep the shaft lubricated.

That would make sense. When I put pressure to it the water that was in the cavity wept out.

Could be, oilite bronze is very porous. Usually looks pitted. My late A has holes in the bushings.
