Quad shifting by itself to high range

I have a low houred 4250 Quad that when in low side will shift from 1 to 2 or 3 to four.Cant see a reason.Both sides work fine just works its way over then will shift up.Thanks

My guess is spring(parts key 6) has failed.

The spring in the clutch pack rarely fail, loose linkage or cab mount would be the place to start.

1 to 2 or 3 to 4 is the powershift

I would go along with Tim on that,never seen a spring broken in the clutch hub
