6115d air conditioner

If it was running fine with no complaints and just quit entirely, the fuse certainly is the easiest to locate and put the fix on. Some JD places were in the habit of retro-fitting a relay into that circuit such that the power for the clutch didn't have to flow thru the various switches in a maze to wind up at the compressor. This wire was used to operate a simple add on relay to take the brunt of the current. As such you may have defective relay to replace, it should have it's own in-line fuse too and many were mounted close to the compressor itself. Find the clutch wire and follow it backwards would be my advice to find such a relay, if were added in the distant past.

I have a 6115d that the AC quit the day after it was delivered new.The they came out and did several things but the problem was the clutch fan.
