Tim I have acquired a pretty clean JD 4020 gas. I know I hate to fool with the gas motors but this was cheap. The question is. I have a JD 466 out of a JD 6620 Titian II SH combine. It was ran low on oil but only had 1900 hours on it. The crankshaft polished out fine. So how much trouble would this block be to put in the JD 4020???
I saw in an earlier post you talked about the bolt patterns being different in the late model 466 blocks. I have switched the JD 466 combine motors into JD 4430 and JD 4230 and have had to modify the frame rails because of bolt pattern issues.
