I didn't think to take a picture but I think I found a turnover plow for a john deere m. At least it has the same type of hitch that my friends m2 plow has.

The mold boards are cast and say syracuse chilled plow works.

Does anyone know if deere actually made a turnover plow for an m?

If you mean ones that rolls over so you can plow next to the furrow you plowed, Yes. I had one on an M when I was a teenager.

Thanks very much. Now I can do more searching with that model number.

How common are these compared to a m2 or m1 plow?

My friend has an m2. I was trying to talk him into swaping to this as it seems like a more interesting peice. And the m2 seems like alot of plow for the M

Wish they made a roll over plow like that for the model H

They are designated the M3, M3A, and M3B. Deere
made slight changes to them as production went
on. I have a couple of the M3B plows, one with steel
moldboard and the other with the cast moldboard
that says Syracuse. These are just a few of the
family of implements that I have for the M
