Greeting folks,
On advice of some of you folks I went on e bay and purchased the SM 2001 and SM 2002 John Deere manuals. I can now see what you were
talking about when it comes to the type of complete information in these two manuals as compared to the cheaper ones. The 2001 in in a spiral
bound format but the SM 2001 is set up for an old style four hole loose leaf binder. The hole placement is not your average. I would like to
protect the manual as best I can. would anyone of you folks know where I can find an "OLD" John Deere binder to go with this manual? I thought
of turning it into a three hole but the upper and lower holes don't line up with todays three hole binders. I would rather not chop up the manual.
Have fun
