Well, I got the hydraulic pump repaired today. The biggest problem I had was gettint the Pressure out line rethreaded. It just didn't want to start but I finally got it. I pressured washed it where the fluid ran out of the lines and took the tires/wheels off getting ready for paint. My tool box and battery covers should be here today or tomorrow. She's getting closer Thanks for all the help on thid thing, it's been priceless
Thanks, Nat

I filled the pump with fluid before connecting the lines, After refilling Hy fluid I started tractor and the lift worked as it should. Are you saying I should use it a while before I paint it? Thanks, Nat

I split a 420 and had lots of trouble getting the TOM " primed".
Had to open several fittings, adapt an air hose to " goose" it.
Just things that would scratch a new paint job.

Sounds like yours is good to paint.

BTW, I added more than you ever wanted to know about Woodruff keys in your earlier post.
Save your old key - I might want to buy it!

After giving 23 bucks for one you better believe I kept the old one. . It really isn't hard to repair the pump but the directions leave a lot to be desired. Remove pump, just doesn't tell you much
