JD 60 3 point

It is not a real heavy duty hitch, but it should work fine for most tasks you are going to do with a 60. I have a friend who has one on these on a 50 for a particular type of finishing mower. He seems to like it. I think that hitch probably cost him something on the order of $500 when new. What is in the photo looks just like what he has.

I would say what you have would do for some light tasks. I had a less than similar setup with arms I bought from Agri-Supply but even bushhogging the arms got bent. I had to reinforce them by tacking on extra flatbar (as seen in picture if you can blow it up closer.) The 3rd point I built myself & looks to be similar to what you're looking at to purchase. I can now bushhog, snowplow, etc. without bending. Unless you're planning on doing some really heavy duty soil plowing I think what you are looking at will work very well. Keep in mind the 60 stock units are about 3 times heavier than what we're messing with. That tractor can do a lot more than you realize.
