Float Ride Seat

Who makes the best Float Ride seat rebuild kit, I"m told there is a big difference in the rubber springs etc. any input would be great Thanks Ted...

I am very happy with the bushing kit and torsion springs I got from S t e i n e r (If you write that without the spaces this site won't show the post in Modern View).

Torsion springs from other sources are cheaper but don't have a good reputation here in the YT forum.

I made a pair of spring tools when I did my seat that I don't need any more. If you're interested, email me.

Joe Way I could be interested in your spring tools but don't know how to EMail you

I finally found good torsion springs that don't tear apart the first time I sit down, for my float ride seat but I'll be darned if I can remember where I got them. They are stiffer than the originals though and so are the new torsion seat rubbers I got for my Oliver 88. Both the Deere float ride and Oliver seats use darned near the same torsion springs but with different attachment points. They are probably made by the same company.
