I almost like the green things

I usually post in the Ford section and am a die hard ford tractor guy, but this 60 may have almost won me over. Borrowed it over the weekend and starting to like it. Only thing is wish it had 3 point.

A sort of 3 point can be added to those and it will work fine for most things.
Cannot see from here but when pulling a drag disk like that if you let your drawbar in the swinging position instead of bolted straight back it will work ALOT better in the turns.

Once you plow or disc with a big 2 cylinder, you will be hooked.
I built a 3 point for a 39 A years ago and it worked well.

Pound for pound that JD will out pull any ford. My lottle 1935 JD-B will out pull my Ford 841 for 10 feet or so then you have to pull the clutch back and let the flywheel spin back up

The weakness in aftermarket 3 pts is the top link bracket. Take a good look at that before buying one. The good ones are out there.

Driving a two cylinder Deere and working the engine is one of those sounds that will calm and relax me, particularly after a rough day at work. Those with the duplex carburetor, such as the 60, are really nice sounding tractors when under a load.

lol...yep, my Fords do 95% of the actual work around here, but if you made me choose, my 2cyl Deeres would be the last to leave.

With the JD's....even just on a ride to exercise em...you are always looking for something to load the engine. "There's a hill...YAY!"
