Where can I get the bearings needed to replace them all in the transmission of my 420w. The shafts are all loose and sounds like someone dumped a bag of marbles in the case all the gears look fine pto won't stay engaged in assuming the loose shafts bouncing around. The cone bearings I'm not to worried about but there's several needle bearings in there I can't seem to locate. If anyone here has been through this and found the bearings please let me know where. Thanks a lot

Thanks! I wasn't sure if they would even still stock them I put all new bearings in the B I had and it was not easy to get everything

Through the years when I needed bearings, I never found one or the race that did not have a number on it,

Same thing with the 420 5 speed that I did.

Any place worth its salt can cross those numbers out or match them.

I you have a place locally like Motion Industries, those guys have most of the common numbers by memory.

Some places like the local ORilley's, the kids on the computer don't have a clue.

I don't have any real local bearing place in my area that I know of. I will call John Deere and see what they can tell me I kind of want to have most everything I need before I take it apart and tie up the garage waiting on bearings. Thanks guys I appreciate your help

The Late Duane Larson had a great web site with several Bearing Conversion lists on it. I am sure someone here still has the sites address if it is still up and running.
