We have our 4440 hooked to the planter and with the raise/lower cylinder hooked to the left remote it is very slow. If i hook it up
backwards it works faster, or if I hook it to the right side it works correctly. Its almost as if the scv is leaking and not
allowing free flow of oil to return with the lever in the lower position. This tractor has 8500 hours on it. What could be my
problem. Thanks

My guess is one or more rollers(parts key 14) has failed causing valve to not open far enough for good oil flow or possibly ol pin that holds handle in rocker has failed.

Is the male coupler worn on the end of the hose. May not be fully opening when coupled to the tractor. The left SCV usually gets the most wear and if both are worn could be the problem. Long shot.

If some one has changed the rabbit/turtle valve it could be a half turn off,,or the valve out of adjustment not letting the poppets travel far enough,,,and yes possible a bad end, but it would follow the hose and not work well in the other out let...If you can't get it sorted out send it to me and I will go through it...and bench test it, or I would walk you through some things after you take it off ..
