Another 2440 Question

Does anyone know the 3 point capacity of a John Deere 2440. I have a white 6700 mounted planter and the book recommends a min. of 50 PTO HP and 3500lb lift capacity for the 4 or 6 row planter. Was just wondering if I could run it behind that tractor.

Here is some data.
A larger six cylinder chassis such as the 2940 would be a minimum with max front ballast.
Operating a machine to or past it's limits is a common cause of machine failure and human injury or death.
