John Deere 3010 Stroke Valve

Can anyone tell me what port/cap this valve is located under or in on the Hydraulic Pump? My symptoms are currently, one noisy hydraulic pump. ie.. Knocking noise/valve train type sounding when the tractor is running. The noise lessens when the hydraulics are actuated.. ie.. Turn steering wheel, operate 3 point. I do have issues on start up with no steering or brakes for about 30 seconds or so, with clutch engaged. Occasionally, I will get a little squeal sound until pressure builds up. I have checked/cleaned the screen hydraulic filter and replaced the paper hydraulic filter. Fluid level is topped off. Front couplings all look good, bolts are all tight. I have not removed the coupling or checked the splines, but all that hardware looks new. (Aftermarket/Rebuilt Pump was put on the tractor 3 years ago by previous owner.) If I leave the 3 point up and the tractor is warm, the starter will crank the engine over slowly. Like I have a weak battery. I think it is because the system is trying to build pressure. Again, I think the pump is an aftermarket pump from its appearance, as there is no visible destroke T valve on it that I can see, either on the top or bottom of the pump. That was the first thing I went to check, but since I do not see a destroke valve, I want to check the stroke control valve, but do not know where it is located? Side or top? My shop manual does not indicate the location, only where the destroke valve should be. On the bottom of the pump, I can see the pressure regulator/adjustment screw. Any help would be appreciated.

Destroker screw(parts key 6) is located on the frt LH(drivers) side of pump. Screw tee handle down to put pump out of stroke then after engine is running screw tee handle CCW.

Thanks Jim, I know where the valve is "supposed" to be. Remove the left side screen and it "Should" be right there on top.. However, I do not have a "T" valve visible on the Aftermarket Hydraulic pump that is installed on this tractor. There are two caps visible on the top of the pump, but neither of them contains a T valve. I guess I can just remove the one where I "think" the destroke valve should be and see what is there.

In lieu of DS screw one can rapidly move steering wheel back and forth while attempting to start engine. This rapid turning of steering wheel helps relieve hyd pressure build up during engine starting process.
