1944 B, add-on hydraulics?

Just wondering if a 44 B hand start with a flat back could have hydraulics added to it? other than adding a pump up by the fan and running lines up to a valve. Did they offer anything stock for this? Thank you

JD offered a live hyd. pump kit that mounted at the governor behind the magneto. You could also swap out the rear end cover for one with hydraulics.

there is one locally where farmer bolted gear to flywheel face and drove hydraulic pump off of flywheel. Looks a little dangerous to hand start

Swapping the rear cover for one with the pump would be the best.
