Paint color for B carb, generator?

I'm getting ready to paint my 1949 B, what color should the carb, magneto, and generator be? Were they painted green with the rest of the tractor?

Carb and genny were green. Don't know about the mag. Thinking back to the 50's and 60's all I remember is bare aluminum mags.

Black genny didn't happen till mid-late numbered series. possibly when the black dash came in? Neighbor's 1953 60 had a green genny.

Sorry but you have this backwards. Black generator until the black dash 20 series.
If the dash is green the generator is black.
If the dash is black the generator is green.
That holds true for all Waterloo tractors up until they started using alternators.
Someone painted the generator on your neighbor's 60.

....and if you really want to get correct, the manifold was painted with tractor and paint just burnt off with use. Doesn't look the best but it's "correct" if that's what yur going for.

Yep..JD Letter Series had different WHEELS on them while they went through the Paint Shop and everything got shot Green..later, the yellow wheels went on...

Except....the mag and generator.

I believe I am correct.... the generator and Mag. was installed AFTER the Green was applied and the Yellow wheel were installed ..

Think about it...it ONLY makes sense...

Really no need to nit-pick replies meant to offer positive input....
