JD distributor

I want to order points, condenser and rotor for my JD 2010. I see they used several different suppliers for the distributors. I cant read the name plate on it, but I am guessing by looking at the pics it is a Delco. Also it has an internal dust cover. Would that mean it is a Delco. Any other way to determine the supplier?

Best go to jdparts.com and compare the pics there as it looked like the wico, prestolite and delco all had a dust cover of some sort. Or take your points out and take them with you to the parts counter to compare them also. chris

Thanks. I went to JDparts.com and they had a pretty good blow up of each. Pretty obvious by the design of the dust cover that it has to be a WICO ditributor.

f it is a WICO, good luck on finding parts. I switched to a Delco, much easier to get parts for them..

Found parts (points, rotor and condenser) at T.H.E. tractor parts in Mount Pleasant IA. These guys are great to deal with. Whoever you talk to actually knows what you are talking about. They have turned a wrench or two. They always seam to find what I am looking for and at 1/4 of JD dealer prices.
