I have the Z255. When I grease the spindle bearings (with the zerk at the top of the spindle) grease comes out around the top nut on the first pump.
All three spindles act the same. Seems to me it isn't taking grease to do the bearings any good.
Anybody have the same experience?
Is this a concern? or should I get back to mowing grass?

Your only supposed to give them ONE pump each oil change which is around 100 hours. IF your getting grease out around the top you are over greasing the spindles. You can easily ruin the bearings by doing that. They are sealed and just take in a little grease. Too much and you ruin the seals.

I see an example of this issue at work- we have a set of fans that run constantly, so I check bearing temps while touring the area. One fan bearing, a pillow block between motor and fan, will run 140F plus while the others are 100F or less. After some investigation, turns out the maintenance procedure was missing a decimal point on that one bearing, so seven out of eight bearings got 0.7 oz of grease per period, and one got 7.0 oz. That also explained the giant pile of grease oozing from the bearing every quarter...

Well, JDSeller....... You got me to read the manual.
It says to change the oil every 50 hours, and give the spindle bearings two pumps.

Guess I was too old school - if it's got a zerk, grease it,
