3020 side console wiring

Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the ignition circuit for a 1971 3020 gas? I'm looking to eliminate the resistor wire between the switch and the coil. I checked the continuity between the switch and coil and found 2 wires on the switch having continuity with the wire at the coil.

What, exactly, is the issue that makes you feel you need to "reinvent the wheel" here?

Have you installed a "true" 12 Volt coil that can take full battery voltage without the need for a resistor in the primary circuit?

Not "reinventing the wheel". Just following the instructions for installing a new high voltage coil with a separate external resistor. I'm going from a standard coil to a 55,000 volt coil and that coil requires a separate resistor with a specific ohms resistance. Denny's Carb shop supply's a resistor with the high voltage kit. The power supply cannot be resisted twice. Apparently they feel their resistor will ensure the proper resistance for the coil and the factory resistor wire will not. The only reason I posted the question is because I'm finding two wires on the key switch plug that have continuity with the wire at the coil. I'm looking for the proper wire to unhook and replace with a new wire to supply unresisted vtage to the new external resistor.

Unplug the two wires at the switch, carefully noting to which terminal each goes, then check for continuity between the wire at the coil and each of the disconnected disconnected wires
