Last summer the local John Deere dealer leased some 5045 Tractors (new) for $3.00 an hour with a max of 300 hours. A friend of mine leased 3 and is going to keep 1 or 2 of them at a cost of $19,000. 4 wheel
drive or assist, whichever you call it. They do not have a loader on them but I have been thinking about having him keep one of them for me instead of turning it back in. It will come with the remainder factory
warranty. What opinions good or bad do you guys have?

Did have to put money down too ? that sounds too good to be true for a lease ?

As long as they changed the engine oil in them that price should be a good deal. What does a brand new one cost ?

Its not a bad deal but not a great one either. I could sell you a brand new 5045E mfwd for about $1700 more.

Would that include the loader also? Where are you located?
