1945 JD model A - Clutch

Another clutch question. I am confused as to which way to turn the bronze collar (JD Parts: page 21, key 39, A82R) that slips around the clutch operating sleeve (part key 24...I think). I don't remember how it was turned when I took it apart and I can't tell from the parts catalog. Those of you who are familiar with the bronze collar will know that it is cut lower on one side and can be flipped. If anyone has a picture of the correct way it would be a big help. Thanks

here is a pic of the one I recently removed. You are looking at it from the front as it would be on tractor. Flat side to clutch driver and side with 90deg angle towards block. Hope this helps
