Can a JD2955 run an orbit motor?

I have a JD 2955 and I want to setup a hydraulic orbit motor on my border blocker to activate the blade release. Can the tractor be configured to run a hydraulic orbit motor on an implement?

(quoted from post at 19:36:13 04/09/16) I believe the motor are available OC or CC, get the one that matches your system.

I've never heard of CC or OC hyd motors before. I've run same hyd motor on both open & closed center tractors.

You can run a hydraulic motor with a 2955 as long as the return from that valve is directed to the filter on the right side of the transmission. When you look at the valves on the back of the tractor, they can be connected directly to the 3 point hitch top cover on the left side of the valve, or the outlet can come out of the right side and go down to the filter housing. On this tractor, the charge pump is smaller than the main pump. By returning the oil to the filter, you are adding it to the charge flow, so the main pump wont starve. Otherwise, about half speed is all you can do continuously. There is a port on the filter for this purpose, usually the loader valve returns to it as well.

It's not the motor but the plumbing to the motor that can be set up open or closed center when using a flow control valve to control motor speed. Open center uses a bypass hose for the excess flow when running the motor slow. This will cause the system to get hot on a closed center tractor due to the bypassing oil flow. Closed center plumbing will be a straight through circuit from tractor to flow valve to motor and back to the tractor with no tees in the system.
