clutch - 1945 model A

Some of you on this list have spoken of a bevel type washer that goes on under the 3 nuts that are used to adjust the pressure on the driver. However, the parts catalog for my tractor does not call for any washers. So, where can I get these washers? I need a part number, etc. Thanks

You can get "wavy" washers at fastenall or places like that. Yes they do make for a very smooth engagment of the clutch.

The clutch washers that I got from Deere weren't "wavy" - they were cupped - sorta like a flat bowl with a hole in the bottom. I put the bottom of the "bowl" against the adjusting nut.
