If you are running your hydraulic lines out of the two ports on the face of the powr-trol through coupler plugs, you will need to remove these two plugs and install dummy plugs in order to use the rockshaft arms that operate your 3 pt hitch. The 3 pt hitch will not operate unless dummy plugs are installed in place of couplers.

Now that makes sense to me now I couldn't understand what
people were talking about I was under the impression they
were located in other places thank you very much are those
plugs available still? Or are they only available used?

You can find them new, from Ebay among other places. Here is one listing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JOHN-DEERE-A-B-G-50-60-70-HYDRAULIC-DUMMY-PLUG-/290343219724?hash=item4399cdf20c:g:q9kAAOSwAKxWUtJZ

What year is your John Deere B? The plugs in the link are for B's with the late style plugs. The early ones used a sheer type couple, I believe.
