My 4440 load shaft is leaking bad. I stopped at John Deere to get parts. and they had 5 shafts but no bushings. What wears that needs replacing? I replaced bushings in my 4020 and 4010 years ago and it seems that there were o-rings. The bushings were aftermarket and the shafts were good. They haven't leaked since.

My 4255 has 11,400+ hrs with original L/D bushings. I see ""no advantage"" to Bolings bushings over JD bushings on a 30-55 series RC tractor. BUT IMHO on 10 & 20 series RC tractors Bolings is the best.

You are thinking about the 4020 style,,4440 is different, it works out best to get the bushings with seals, and I think only from Deere...

The parts man showed R46513 Pin or shaft and R71476 bushings. I think it is AR54481 Bushing kit. The bracket must be snug as I see assorted washers too. I have a quick hitch that is heavy and thereis side play on the arms. I think it might help if I can snug up the side sway.

My tractor has 14000 hours and this is the first time the load shaft has leaked. I use it on a 956 2 point mow co, snow blower
and a 18 row 7300 3 point planter. It started dripping when I picked up the planter this spring.
