JD 2510 rear seal replacement

How do I remove the wear ring from the crankshaft so I can replace rear seal assembly from the 2510 engine not a lot of room to work with like doing Waterloo tractors

Scribe it a few times and wedge an old srew driver under it,, it will pop off..

Best to find an adapter plate off a newer model and use that seal. 40 dollars and a heck of a lot better than the 250 dollars seal you are working on.
