'46 B wide front ??

Just a question as to whether a square wide front, the type that came on a 630 etc would bolt up and work on a '46 "B" ? Before you answer, I need to let you know I have a pic of that very combination. I was always under the impression these only fit the 20 and 30 series 2 cylinder tractors. In the pic it looks like it was a straight bolt on deal. What say you?

Not work unless some one does a whole bunch of engineering.

Here is a pic. Sure looks like the correct square wide front for 630 to me but can't believe it fits that nice on a "B". Reason for asking is I have a chance to buy just the front end or whole tractor. Just didn't want to start dealing on it until I figure this out. When the man said it was the right front for 630 the red flag went up. Open to all info on this. RB

I will add it would be easier if the tractor had a split pedestal.

That's a split frt end off a 49/ Model B, I have split pedestal I plan on installing on a 44 A
because they look SSSSOOOOO mush better on them tractors.

Thanks for the info RLA, I'm just surprised that JD had the forethought to make this stuff actually bolt up and be interchangable. I may just buy the whole tractor to get the front end and then leaves a split ped to sell and part the rest. I'll see which way he would rather deal.
