John deere 3010 Noise

I just purchased a 3010 Gas tractor. Everything seems to work ok. The problem is there is a noise that will hurt your ears in the cab. It sounds like it is coming from behind the engine Makes the noise all the time setting or driving clutch in or out. Looking for ideas Where do I start?

Why didn't you describe the noise?
If it's a squeal it's probably the
pressure control valve and would be
in the right front of a cab.

Aftermarket cabs on 3010's are normally noisy from lack of good insulation and not good rubber isolated cab mounts

I am thinking you are correct it is just steel and glass. also there is no rubber at all. Thanks

My old Pioneer 1200 saw just could not be made quieter .... tried and tried and tried, solution was ear protection.

If it is hydraulic, the noise would go away if you use the destroke screw on the main pump, or if you starve the pump: clutch in, move the rockshaft up and down until it quits.
