1962 JD 3010

Coming up on a sale next week.
Serial number T27799. PTO does not work.
I was wondering what it will take to fix this. Tractor is rough and rubber is shot.
Will not pay much but wanted an idea what it might take.

Depends on what's wrong with pto. If speed change pin is bent/broken then repair/replacement of pin requires a double split between engine & clutch housing then between clutch housing & trans case

Jim i think that only takes one split its a scyro not a power shift

Now that I think about it you are correct. Thanks for correcting me. It's been since the 80's since I repaired the dual speed pto on a 10 series and converted it to 540 rpm only eliminating the tee tiny speed shift pin.
