found a 435 diesel today very rough condition, motor stuck, needs tires, wide front , 5 speed, no float ride.very rough. What is something like this worth today market?
 

About the same as a 320 in the same condition.
All 435's were 'wide front' , 'W" , Rowcrop Utility chassis. Is the nose piece which was manufactured from Unatainim intact ?
I seen a very nice " new" appearing 435 with the SCV option top out at the NY Expo auction at $4700 iirc. The bidding stopped at $3000-$4000 under priced.
it's a $1000 tractor as . After you restore it you won't care what it cost. The 435 is a unique and lovable little beastie.
There are several past posts here on this site regarding the updates to the 2-53 Detroit.

I have been wanting a 435 for awhile and i have a bunch of 35 series detroit stuff laying around. Im not scared of a "bad" motor haha

9000 American? i say that half in jest cause i have seen a few really nice ones that ran sell for quite a bit less than that. I just wont spend that kinda money on one lol

Looks good but those fenders were sourced from other than a 435.
Started off with 6:00-16 on the front but it made the tractor too nose high. Even the 5:00-15 on there now would not be level with the 12-28/13.6x28 rears. One of these days the 10-34/11.2x34 will go on the back .
 
One thing about the 435s is the hydraulics leak as much or more than the Detroit. My old 6-71 left a spot on the floor thats a little larger than the 435.

All Dubuqies until late in the 30 series leaked oil from the rockshaft seals .
 
Some of the traits that have been passed down through the years with the Dubuque designs.. Been the "B" team ever since the made the H's drive off the camshaft..They always had a different line of thought than the Waterloo division..
