I tore the 720 power steering apart today that I asked about a few weeks ago. With the parts book and the power steering service manual it went fine. The bootom seal looks wore out and the thrust bearing has lots of play as well. One of the steering vane dowl pins was broke in the middle. The only problem so far is Deere parts, the bottom bearing is part number jd 7679 we ordered a new one and the box is marked jd 7679 but the bearing inner diameter is to small. The owner will check with Deere next week to see what to do. Anyone have another source for this bearing if Deere has a whole bunch of wrong bearing in correct boxes? It is a thrust bearing. Thanks Tom

Did you look up the bearing dimensions, and see if they match the bearing OR the tractor?
